Course Outline

The Award in General Data Protection Regulation is a practical, introductory-level e-Learning self-led course that will give you a solid understanding of core principles to ensure learners understand how to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation. This programme allows learners to understand the existing regulation and implement effective GDPR policies to meet the standards of the rules for the protection of personal data inside and outside the European Union. This course is designed for people with access, use and process any form of personal data, as well as those considering embarking on a new career in GDPR as a stepping-stone for study at a higher level.

  • Utilize understanding of GDPR requirements and comply with the national and EU Data Protection regulations.

  • Be responsible for the implementation of GDPR polices.

  • Monitor and mitigate GDPR offences and penalties.

  • Identify the importance of GDPR requirements and how they apply to Gaming companies.

  • Implement rigirous GDPR processes.

  • Execute compliance processes which are aligned with the principles of the right to privacy.

  • Perform compliance duties of the data protection officer.

  • Implement policies to comply with the broad concept of Information Security.

  • Implement and execute policies to ensure protection of personal data.

  • Implement and execute processes of access requests.

Training Pays Scheme Refund

If you reside in Malta, you will receive €75 of your course fee back via the Training Pays Scheme and the course fee after you receive the refund will be €25.

Invest In Skills Scheme Refund

If you are a company registered in Malta, you will receive up to €22 per hour per trainee via the Invest In Skills Scheme.

Accreditation

The Award in General Data Protection Regulation Awareness is a fully interactive e-Learning course which consists of 1 ECTS and is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority at level 4 of the Malta and European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
