Course Outline

The Award in Cyber Security Awareness and Indications practical, introductory-level e-Learning self-led course that will give you a solid understanding of core principles related to adherence in Cyber Security. This programme allows learners to understand the current trends and threats in the continuous global fight against cyber security threats and aims to prepare learners for the modern day cyber and social manipulation. This course is designed for people with access to computer networks, customer facing/frontline employees and key responsibility holders as well as those considering embarking on a new career in Cyber Security as a stepping-stone for study at a higher level.

  • Utilize understanding of cyber security requirements and comply with the cyber security policies.

  • Be responsible for the implementation of cyber security polices.

  • Monitor and mitigate cyber security offences and penalties.

  • Identify the importance of cyber security requirements and how they apply to Gaming companies.

  • Implement rigorous cyber security processes.

  • Execute security policies for online banking and identification.

  • Perform cyber security tool actions in AML.

  • Perform cyber security tool actions in data protection.

  • Follow and execute the necessary actions in the event of an identification of a cyber security.

Training Pays Scheme Refund

If you reside in Malta, you will receive €75 of your course fee back via the Training Pays Scheme and the course fee after you receive the refund will be €25.

Invest In Skills Scheme Refund

If you are a company registered in Malta, you will receive up to €22 per hour per trainee via the Invest In Skills Scheme.

Accreditation

The Award in Cyber Security Awareness and Indications is a fully interactive e-Learning course which consists of 1 ECTS and is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority at level 4 of the Malta and European Qualifications Framework for lifelong learning.
